Youth Citizenship Medal
The Daughters of the American Revolution is a world-wide organization of women who trace their lineage to the men and women who fought for American independence or provided financial support for the cause.
Its philanthropic missions are historic preservation and fostering patriotism and good citizenship. In 1934, the DAR created the Youth Citizenship Award that recognized the qualities of honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism in our young men and women.
Web hyperlinks to non-DAR sites are not the responsibility of the NSDAR, the state organization, or individual DAR chapters.
